This is the only day of this journey that follows the GR20 in its entirety. That having been said it makes a very short diversion to reach the first summit - Punta della Capella - as well as Monte Incudine, the final 200m peak of the trip.

The trail is easy to follow, the only difficulty being its length, although the final descent to the Refuge D'Asinau can be awkward when wet or in poor visibility. The first half of the day follows a long undulating ridge, whilst the second half is more gentle.
