Section 11 - Refuge de L'Onda to Vizzavona, 12.9 km, 1266 m +

This is a short day allowing recuperation and re-stocking at Vizzavona.  It starts with a steep ascent to the Pointe Muratello on the GR20.  The main trail descends to the valley from the col, but an out-and-back ascent can be made to Monte D'Oro. The way is well marked as this is a GR20 variant. Keep to the right of the ridge until finishing up the Southeast ridge.

A traverse of the mountain can be made, but this would miss the spectacular ravine of l'Agnone. Return to the main GR20, then follow it down to the right of the stream.  This cascades down in a series of pools and waterfalls, inviting immersion in the green waters.  From the Cascade des Anglais, a traversing path leads directly to the Col de Vizzavona.  Accommodation can be found here, meaning that you don't need to descend to Vizzavona since supplies can be bought at La Foce.
