Introduction

Corsica End to End is a 460km journey from the Northernmost point of Corsica to the Southernmost point, via coastal paths, the mountainous spine of Cap Corse, the mountains of the GR20, and the forests, wild hills and rocky coastline of the South of the Island. It is an extremely varied expedition, visiting numerous secluded bays, charming Corsican villages, spectacular rocky peaks and peaceful forests.  The route is an amalgam of existing trails and unmarked paths, seeking to combine the very best of Corsica in one magnificent journey.

The first completion was made in October 2023 in 17 days, but 3-4 weeks would be less demanding.  The original journey included many stops for swimming in the sea and incorporated several of the major peaks along the way.  The more serious scrambling can be avoided and is entirely optional.

There is no guidebook for the whole route and this web site is intended as a resource for future completions. Maps are provided using the GAIA GPS app.  Please let me know if you plan to walk the route and to provide any feedback by contacting me.
